Geological sweat - An installation by Garden Loops x Yana Deliyska
Since the earths magma cooled down we have followed the tearful traces of saline. We cleansed our wounds with the ocean. We let our sweat drip into the same cauldron. Salt balance. Salt balanced bodies, and whole ecosystems. We scoop up a bucket of water from the shore, watch the crystals form as the last drops evaporates from the boil. Salt. Salz. Salt-trade. Sal-ary. Harvesting salt. Mining salt. Preserving food in salt. Scattering roads with salt. Meanwhile: Ocean is humming. It is a fine infrastructure. It is a foul industry. Salt provides little allegories for binary propaganda. Take in the movement of salt, spill your tears, and taste the crystal sweat of geological times.
