BEETLE TALK #01
Andrea Spasic × Dandelion
Stories Beyond The Page: Exploring Tangible Narratives
For each Beetle Talk, we invite our guest to choose an insect or plant that resonates with their practice, gradually forming a living creative ecosystem that maps different artists’ practices.
Andrea's choice is the dandelion—a plant that spreads through movement, adaptation, and unexpected encounters.

In this Beetle talk, Andrea will share two projects Kolets Kretslopp and Skogsfilten and talk about storytelling as something physical, tactile, and exploratory. Through illustration, material, text, and spatial elements, her work explores how stories can be experienced beyond traditional formats. The conversation will revolve around process, experimentation, and working between the fields of design and art.
Andrea Spasic is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She holds a BA in Design from HDK-Valand and works across illustration, graphic design, and artistic exploration. Drawing and storytelling are at the center of her practice, often through a combination of analog and digital processes, tactile materials, and experimental formats.
Together with Felicia Roos, she co-runs the design studio ANDEN&FISKEN
